Streamline-ENV© - Analyst: Data Analysis and Visualization System

Analyst is Streamline-ENV's processing, analysis and presentation module. From the moment you open Analyst to process a data file you'll notice that it combines a comprehensive yet easy to use set of analysis tools with intuitive file management capabilities. Analyst's graphic user interface includes the five features detailed below.
Resource Panel
  • No need to go hunting through a series of menus as the most used tools are available from the Resource Panel or from the Quick-Action Toolbar.
  • Common utilities such as browsing, setting chart display attributes, setting data limits and data series options and accessing the shortcut list are available in the Resource Panel.
  • When the tools aren't needed the pane can be hidden.
Quick-Action Toolbar
  • Print, copy or save charts or tables, create shortcuts, resize panes, and access chart tools using the Quick-Action Toolbar.
File Listing
  • Use the file listing to quickly locate files based on descriptive metadata.
  • Select an option from the drop-down menu in the "Action" column of the file listing to select a file and display its contents in one of several chart formats, as a statistical summary report or in the quality assurance analysis module for further processing.
Data Table
  • A tabular presentation of the data in spreadsheet format corresponding to the data shown in the chart.
  • The spreadsheet and chart are interconnected such that clicking on a row of data in the spreadsheet automatically moves the tracking cursor on the chart to the corresponding data sample.
  • Right-click on the spreadsheet to save, copy, export or print.
Chart Area
  • Area reserved to display charts. Supports multi-axes, stacked and overlay chart for time series or X-Y data; and Rose or polar scatter chart for vector data (speed and direction).
  • Clicking a data point on the chart automatically scrolls the spreadsheet to the corresponding row of data in the spreadsheet and highlights it.
  • The interconnected chart and table streamlines the process of identifying features and data spikes as well as the time at which the event occurred.
